After a pause of about two weeks, the Chisinau water utility restarted to disconnect those with debts, IPN reports.
According to a communiqué from SA Apa-Canal Chisinau, the people living at certain addresses on the streets Studentilor, Florilor and Moscova remained without running water for a debt of about 500,000 lei. More disconnections will be performed on May 16 on Florilor, Moscova and Gh.Madan streets.
SA Apa-Canal Chisinau urges the end-users with debts to pay the bills in time so as to avoid being sued and having the property sequestrated.
According to the company, the debts for water in Chisinau municipality amount to 400 million lei.
