Chisinau budget-funded institutions will be disconnected from heat supply at night

The supply of heat to the institutions financed from the Chisinau budget will be interrupted for the night, at the suggestion of Mayor General Dorin Chirtoaca, Info-Prim Neo reports. The supply to such institutions, except to the kindergartens and hospitals, will be stopped between 17.00 and 08.00. During the last few days, the heat supplier Termocom received a number of applications, asking that the heat supply be halted. However, under the regulations, the company can stop supplying heat only when the average temperature is 8 degrees Celsius during three consecutive nights. The weather forecasters say the temperatures this week will rise to 13-14 degrees Celsius during the day, but will fall to 6 degrees Celsius at night. Termocom commercial director Mihai Arusoi said the company will reduce the volume of supplied heat. The hot water will be supplied in the same volume and will be turned off only in case of repair or accidents.
