The Chisinau Municipality is warning drivers to take extra care in connection with the adverse weather advisory, asking the members of the public to avoid driving to the extent possible and use the public transport instead.
Drivers are also advised to park in authorized places and avoid parking under trees.
In a press release, the Mayor's Office said that all the specialized services are ready to clear the streets of snow and ice.
Also in connection with the low temperatures predicted, the Municipality has announced it will provide temporary housing to the homeless at the shelter on Haltei Street.
