Chisinau authorities prolong heating season

The heating season will not end just yet as the weather is still unstable. The Chisinau City Hall is to review its decision after March 21, when the weather is expected to grow markedly warmer, Info-Prim Neo reports, citing the City Hall’s PR department. Since rain showers and high air humidity have been forecasted for the following ten days, the municipality decided to wait at least until March 21, when low temperatures will most probably not drop below 0°C. Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca recommended that the temperature of the delivered heat is reduced in the apartment blocks said to be overheated. Earlier this week, the City Hall announced the heating season would end on March 11.
