Chisinau’s Extraordinary Public Health Commission has repeatedly requested that the Ministry of Health installs an oxygen generation system at the municipal Covid Center, warning that the failure to do so could put the Center’s patients at risk.
The Commission also asks the Ministry to urgently restock municipal hospitals with antiviral and other drugs in line with the National Clinical Protocol for managing the coronavirus pandemic.
Earlier this week, Health Minister Ala Nemerenco stated that specialists advised against installing an oxygen system at the Covid Center, accommodated by the exhibition facility Moldexpo, as its walls and grid would be inadequate for this.
