The residents of Chisinau will be supplied with heat at winter parameters when average daytime temperature will be 8 degrees Celsius during three consecutive days. In the November 4 meeting of Chisinau City Hall officials, deputy mayor Vlad Cotet said the weather forecasts for this week show it is too early to start the heating season, IPN reports.
SA Termocom director general Mihail Cernei said 686 of the 2,941 apartment buildings connected to the centralized heating system are supplied with heat. The number of institutions and apartment buildings that are heated at present is the highest possible for supplying heat at summer parameters.
According to Mihail Cernei, 95% of the apartment buildings in Chisinau paid for the heat consumed during the 2012-2013 heating season. The debts now amount to 67 million lei.
The administration of SA Termocom calls on the bad payers to clear the debts in the immediate future. The bills and debts can be paid at bank branches, through electronic payment terminals and at the commercial center of SA Termocom situated at 6 Tudor Vladimirescu St.
