Adrian Talmaci has stated that this year 583 years are marked since the first documentary records of Chisinau municipality. During this period, "Chisinau went through the transformations of time". His Beatitude, Metropolitan Vladimir has mentioned in his speech that the Protection of the Mother of God, marked on October 14, reminds of the moment when, in the tenth century, in Constantinople, during the service, while Christians were praying, the Mother of God accompanied by the saints John the Baptist and John the Theologian appeared.
