Chisinau administration gives by 3,000 lei to 18 orphans

Eighteen orphans from the municipality of Chisinau who go to the first grade this year will receive by 3,000 lei from the City Hall. The legal representatives of the children can take the money at the branches of Banca de Economii (Savings Bank) from August 18, Info-Prim Neo reports. On Thursday, the children were invited to the City Hall, where they enjoyed surprises. They received by a bell, candies, toys and a parcel with school supply. The future students recited poems and then had a sweet meal in a café, which was paid for by a company. The head of the Municipal Child Rights Protection Division Svetlana Chifa said the meeting with children who do not have parents became a tradition. In nine years, when they will be graduates, they will be also invited to the City Hall. A number of 35 orphans went to the first grade in Chisinau municipality last year.
