Chirtoaca, Musuc give different dates for debate on heating charge

Chisinau Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca and City Council Chair Eduard Musuc have specified different dates that the heating charge will be proposed for approval, Info-Prim Neo reports. Whereas Dorin Chirtoaca said the issue would be the first item on tomorrow's agenda of the City Council, Eduard Musuc believes the issue should be considered on November 20. “According to the memorandum signed between the municipality, Termocom and Moldovagaz, and adopted on Tuesday by the City Council, the adjusted tariff must be approved until November 21”. Termocom seeks a charge of 842 lei per G-calorie of heat. International experts from Sweco, who carried out a technical and financial audit at the heat supplier, said the tariff should be 817 lei/Gcal, while domestic experts mentioned 651.71/Gcal. The memorandum approved by the City Council states 740 lei/Gcal, and the municipality insists that it should remain at 540 lei/Gcal.
