The Government decided to provide 1,200 computers, 220 printers, 50 Xerox machines and other equipment to dorms and schools for outfitting informatics halls. The equipment to the value of 17.2 million lei represents a donation made by the Chinese government, IPN reports.
The list of recipient institutions was compiled by the Ministry of Education. It includes over 150 universities, colleges, vocational schools, lyceums and secondary schools from all over the country.
Among the recipients are institutions attended by the largest number of students who are transported from other settlements and where there is only one computer for over students.
