The People’s Republic of China is one of the most important commercial and investment partners of the Republic of Moldova, said Deputy Speaker of Parliament Vladimir Vitiuc. In a message sent to China’s Ambassador in Chisinau Zhang Yinghong, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of Moldovan-Chinese diplomatic relations, Vladimir Vitiuc says the bilateral cooperation during a quarter of century has constantly developed, IPN reports.
The Deputy Speaker noted that different activities with a major impact on the relations of friendship between Moldova and China were carried out in the period. Vladimir Vitiuc thanked the ambassador of the People’s Republic of China for the technical and financial assistance provided to the Republic of Moldova.
“The Republic of Moldova during the next few years hopes to make progress in exporting agricultural products to China and will actively take part in the implementation of the Silk Road Economic Belt initiative. Moldova will continue to closely cooperate within international and national projects in order to strengthen the economy of the state, ensure modernization and people’s welfare,” said Vladimir Vitiuc.
The Republic of Moldova established diplomatic relations with the People’s Republic of China on January 30, 1992.
