China donates Moldova $200,000

China will grant Moldova financial aid worth $200,000 to counter aftereffects of the last summer floods. The Chinese ambassador Longhuang Shi has made the announcement at a meeting with deputy minister of economy Tudor Copaci, Info-Prim Neo reports. The money will transferred by this week-end to the account opened by the Finance Ministry for flood-stricken. The Moldovan Government and companies have bought 87 houses and apartments for the people whose houses were destroyed by waters, still the total number of the necessary dwellings is 233. 102 are being brokered to be bought, as 42 families still need to be given a house, Tudor Copaci says. 5,400 families will get compensations for the losses they incurred because of the floods. The amounts depends on the damages suffered.
