The ombudswoman for children’s rights Tamara Plamadeala has recommended the Ministry of Education and Youth to introduce amendments to the school program, at the request of the parents, students and teachers, Info-Prim Neo reports. “The teachers are dissatisfied with the school program as it is too difficult for the students,” Tamara Plamadeala told a news conference on Thursday. According to the ombudswoman, the parents, students and teachers demand that the number of math and Romanian language lessons be reduced and that the Life Habits subject be reintroduced. The funds for feeding the students from vulnerable families should be increased. “They should benefit from correct alimentation so as to develop normally and be more active at school,” Tamara Plamadeala said. The proposals will be submitted to the Ministry of Education and Youth the next days.
