Children’s High Level Group will promote community actions to help children in need

A Children’s High Level Group in Moldova, headed by Premier Vasile Tarlev, will promote community actions to help children in need. The Group will act under the Moldovan Government. Its creation and nominal composition was approved at the Government session on Wednesday, December 20. Minister of Local Public Administration, Minister of Health and Social Protection, Minister of Education and Youth, and Minister of Foreign Affairs are part of the nominal composition of the Group. A series of concrete projects aimed at protection of Moldovan children in need are to be worked out and implemented next year with the support of the similar Children’s Group in the European Union. The zone Children’s High Level Groups will be created in all the raions across Moldova. The initiative to create the Children’s High Level Group in Moldova is stipulated in the provisions of the Protocol of cooperation between the Moldovan Government and the Children’s High Level Group in Europe, co-founded by Baroness Emma Nicholson of Winterbourne, MEP and Vice Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs.
