Eleven children attending kindergarten No. 49 in Botanica district of Chisinau were taken to the hospital with food poisoning. Specialists of the Chisinau Public Health Center started an inquiry into this case, IPN reports.
According to a communiqué from the Center, the children had symptoms of food poisoning on June 5. Four of them were hospitalized. The other seven received treatment at home and are now in a satisfactory condition.
The Center’s specialists collected samples of water and food and examined the personnel for enteropathogenic bacteria in order to determine the cause of poisoning.
