Children of Moldovans who work abroad are invited to take part in the fifth edition of the DOR program. The Bureau for Diaspora Relations of the State Chancellery started to enroll participants in the program on March 24, IPN reports.
The DOR program is held under the patronage of the Government of Moldova during August 20-28. The children aged between 12 and 17 can register online on www.dor.md between March 25 and April 25. The participants will be chosen as a result of a contest where they will present the DOR concept in relation to migration in a creative way, by an essay, poem, song, drawing, photo, video, etc. Priority will be given to persons who haven’t taken part in the contest so far.
During the seven-day program, the participants will be able to learn the language, traditions and history elements by interactive learning activities. More than 300 children from 15 countries have taken part in the DOR program so far. The participation in the program is free. All the costs are covered with state budget funds. The participants cover only the expenses of traveling to and from Moldova.
