Children of Colonita go to a new kindergarten

Colonita mayoralty, municipality Chisinau, intends to buy a new kindergarten, built many years ago by a productive cooperative of the territory, which was not opened but is sold for 600,000 lei. Local authorities required financial assistance of the municipal budget for purchasing the building. The specialists of the capital appreciated this as a good investment for the locality, according to mayor Maria Iarmenco, as the construction of a kindergarten would be more expensive now. The institution could accommodate about 300 children. Now, the kindergarten of the centre of the village is overcrowded and does not cover the needs, Maria Iarmenco mentioned. The repairing of the school’s roof of Colonita has to be finished, which was seriously damaged as result of natural disasters of last year. The works cannot be done as it is necessary a technical expertise of a falling wall. The mayor required making it till the end of June in order to manage repairing in summer. In the same time, renewal of building’s room where is the Health Centre of Colonita amount to 600,000 lei. The mayoralty required as well repairing two local roads, street Unirii and Vasile Alecsandri, which are strategic for inhabitants, Maria Iarmenco said. The population is disposed to contribute to repairing, and local mayoralty also could invest 100,000 lei. Investment needs of the village Colonita, as well as of the other localities of municipality Chisinau will be included in a development plan of municipality 2006-2010. The advisor of the interim mayor of capital, Tudor Girbu said that this should be presented to Chisinau Municipal Council and government.
