Children from flooded areas will remain in summer camps by end of summer

The children from the flood-hit villages enjoy their time at the summer camps “Ciresarii” and “Alunelul” in Vadul lui Voda and Danceni, the head of the General Division of Education, Youth and Sport Tatiana Nagnibeda-Tverdohleb said in the ordinary meeting of the Chisinau City Hall on July 19, Info-Prim Neo reports. The children enjoy increased attention from the camp's administration and the other children who rest there. They are often visited by officials, who give them presents. Tatiana Nagnibeda-Tverdohleb said the children on Saturday visited a number of historical places in Chisinau, while on Sunday they were visited by their parents. Seven children preferred to go home with their parents. The quoted source said many of the Chisinau residents whose children rest at the camps brought candies to the children from the affected areas. Support will be also needed in the second half of August, when the children will need school supplies. If need be, these children will remain at the camps by August 31. Ninety-four children from flood-stricken villages are now living in camps.
