A Children's Carnival was held at the National Museum of Arts in Chisinau on December 24. Natalia Lozinski, the head of the Museum's Public Relations Division, said this is the second time that the arts come together at the Carnival in order to interact, Info-Prim Neo reports.
“The Carnival is a platform for theater, music, dance, winter folk traditions and customs. The children come, communicate between them and feel well,” Natalia Lozinski said.
“I came to the Carnival to show all the people how beautiful the Christmas traditions and winter holidays are. I came to carol. For me, the winter holidays mean hope that comes with the Birth of Jesus Christ. Christmas is a special holiday that I spend together with my family. New Year means the end of the year and a new start, a new way that we have to cover during a year,” said Diana Danilescu, of the theoretical high school “Spiru Haret”.
The winter holidays for Maxim Betivu of the theoretical high school “Gheorghe Asachi” are holy, especially Christmas. He says that every person should feel holy on this day so as to be healthy, wealthy and do impressive things.
Children from high schools, schools of music and arts and from the boardings school in Straseni came to take part in the Carnival.
