The one-time childbirth allowance in 2020 will be 8,299 lei, up 400 lei on this year, IPN reports, quoting a Government decision.
It is estimated that about 49,000 families will receive one-time childbirth allowances in 2020.
In the same meeting, the Government decided that the one-time allowances paid to children under tutelage and professional parent assistance services and in family type children’s homes will be raised to 7,377 lei for children younger than one, 5,533 lei for children aged one to three years and 3,688 lei for the other children.
