Child who went missing on May 9 not yet found

The two-year-old child from Bobulesti village of Floresti village who went missing on May 9 hasn’t been yet found. The police, together with villagers, checked deserted places, wells and other locations, but all in vain.

Press officer of the Floresti Police Inspectorate Dina Fomin has told IPN that patrolling inspectors examined every car that entered and left the village. Police officers continue to patrol the village.

Liliana Puscasu, press officer of the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, said frogmen searched six kilometers of the Raut River in both directions in the area where the child was seen last, but found nothing.

The two-year-old child went missing on May 9. The police were alerted at about 4pm. The child went for a walk together with an elder child from the neighborhood. These were seen by a neighbor, who at a certain moment saw that only one of the children remained. The missing boy’s mother said she left him unsupervised for several minutes only. The family lives not far from the river.
