The boy aged two from Bobulesti village of Floresti district, who went missing on May 9, hasn’t been yet found. The searches continue, but the police started a criminal case over murder. Kidnapping is also examined as a version.
Contacted by IPN, press officer of the Floresti Police Inspectorate Dina Fomin said the police and villagers checked local deserted homes and wells, but could not found the boy. Earlier, frogmen examined 6 km of the Raut River in both directions, from the place where the child was seen last.
The boy went for a walk together with another child from the neighborhood. These were noticed by a neighbor, who saw that only one of the two children remained near the river in a while. The missing boy’s mother said she left the child unsupervised for a short period. The family lives near the river. Anyone with any information about the whereabouts of the boy is asked to call 901 or 902.
