A boy aged one year and eight months was admitted to the hospital on November 28 with acute poisoning. He and his parents were on a visit to family friends. Left without supervision for several minutes, the child found a bottle of acetone, opened it and drank a part of the content.
Chisinau Ambulance Service managing doctor Anatol Proca has told Info-Prim Neo that the ambulance doctors diagnosed the boy with acute poisoning and burn of esophagus.
A number of Chisinau residents needed medical assistance on the election day. An inebriated man was taken to the hospital from near a polling place located on Cornului St. A seller of a canteen of a polling place situated on Grenoble St and four members of Chisinau electoral commissions complained of hypertension. A 21-year-old man suffered renal colic. An observer sought help from the doctors, complaining of asthenia.
Yesterday and last night, the Chisinau ambulance teams had dealt with 649 emergencies, including 77 cases of acute viral infection, 46 cases of trauma, and eight strokes.
