A three-year-old child who was locked inside the car by his mother was taken out of the car through the broken window after the door locking system broke down. It happened on a street in Cimișlia town, IPN reports, with reference to the National Public Security Inspectorate.
The child’s mother aged 44 locked the child inside the car and went shopping. When she returned, she could not unlock the doors. The police team that was called out to the scene had to break the window to save the kid. An ambulance was also called out.
Cristina Vicol, press officer of the Cimișlia Police Inspectorate, has told IPN that the child was rushed to the hospital for medical care. The child got scared and was in a state of shock as he saw the police near the car. He recovered and was allowed to go home with his mother.
The police warn that it is very dangerous to leave the children unsupervised even for several moments.
