Child struck by truck in crosswalk

A five-year-old boy was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries after he was hit by a truck in a crosswalk. Traffic Police Division PR specialist Dana Andronic has told Info-Prim Neo that the child was crossing the street legally in Hancesti town, when he was struck by a ZIL-130 truck driven by a 33-year-old man. The boy suffered injuries and was admitted to the district hospital. Two persons were injured when a Toyota Corola car collided with a Mercedes minibus running on route No. 125 at the intersection of Vlaicu Parcalab and Bucuresti streets in Chisinau. A three-year-old girl sustained a cranial-cerebral trauma, while a woman aged 44 suffered a concussion. A Rover driven by a woman from Rascani town went out of control and crashed into a tree. An occupant of the car got the forearm broken and was taken to the hospital. Nine persons, three of whom minors, were hurt in eight accidents on the national roads during the last 24 hours
