Child in serious condition after falling from bunk bed

A girl aged one year and seven months was rushed to the hospital in a serious condition after falling from a bunk bed, Chisinau Ambulance Service managing doctor Maria Shamatailo has told Info-Prim Neo. The girl suffered a concussion and injury to the internal organs and was admitted to Valentin Ignatenco Hospital. A 26-year-old man from Cantemir district, who came to Chisinau to visit his sister, was discovered hanged between the fifth and sixth floors of an apartment building located on Mircea cel Batran Blvd. An investigation is under way. A man aged 50 was stabbed by his wife of 45 with a knife during a fight. The woman suffered a thoracic trauma. Both were admitted to the Emergency Hospital. A homeless man aged 56 was taken to the hospital from the Railway Terminal with frostbite. The Chisinau ambulance teams on December 6 had dealt with 729 emergencies, including 77 cases of acute viral infection, 79 cases of trauma, three strokes and 22 deliveries.
