Child in hospital after beaten by his father

A 12-year-old child was taken to hospital after his father beat him because he stole 1,500 lei from their home, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to Silvia Babara, coordinating doctor on duty at the Emergency Service, the boy took the money to buy something he needed and then go to school. “When learning about this, his father came to the school and hit him several times there in order to find out the truth,” Silvia Babara said. The boy suffered brain concussion, bruising in the parietal region and multiple contusions and was admitted to the children’s hospital Valentin Ignatenco.
