A tragic case happened in Floresti district. A child aged 12 died after he was injured by a bullet from a hunter’s gun. According to the police, it was preliminarily established that the minor was shot dead by a friend of his with whom he went fishing. It was also determined that the hunter’s gun belonged to the victim’s father.

Dina Fomin, press officer of the Floresti Police Inspectorate, has told IPN that the two children went to fish at a local pond. It is known that the victim’s father worked as a guard at the pond and kept a hunter’s gun in an annex. At a certain moment, the 12-year-old boy took the gun and started to play with it. His friend aged 13 tried to explain him that it was dangerous. When he attempted to dispossess him of gun, he accidentally pulled the trigger and mortally hurt the other boy.

Dina Fomin said the child called his relatives to the place of the accident. The police interrogated him later. As he is a minor, he will be investigated outside jail for murder out of imprudence.
