A child died on Monday morning after falling from the 17th story of an apartment building in Chisinau. Coordinating doctor of the Chisinau Urgency Service, Eufalia Negreata, says that the circumstances of the tragedy are currently unknown, the Botanica Police Department being in charge of discovering them. The tragedy happened at around 7:30 AM, on Dacia Boulevard. Eye-witnesses saw a child, with a satchel on his back, falling from the 17th story of the building. They mentioned the fact that the boy did not scream while falling, which is uncommon for such cases. First investigations proved that the boy felled from the apartment he was living in. Three women and a man deceased on Sunday. A woman, 40, died after consuming alcohol, while paying a visit, in an apartment on Miorita Street. Another woman, aged 47, passed away because of heart insufficiency. A woman, 60, was found dead on the street. Experts say that the woman died of intoxication with an unknown substance. A man, 72, was hospitalised with hypothermia. He was found near some garbage cans. Over the last 24 hours the Chisinau Urgency Service recorded 620 calls, including 63 cases of virosis, 67 traumas and 2 brain strokes.
