A boy of nearly six Friday fell from the second floor of a Chisinau kindergarten situated on Ion Creanga St. According to the Ambulance Service, the child went to the toilet by himself. There, he climbed on the window ledge, slipped and fell. The ambulance was called by the child’s mother who came to take him home, Info-Prim Neo reports. Silvia Babara, coordinating doctor of the Chisinau Ambulance Service, said the boy broke his left forearm and was taken to Valentin Ignatenco Hospital. Fortunately, this is the only trauma he suffered. The same day, a group of teens were playing football on the sports grounds of a school on Cuza Voda Blvd. At a certain moment, the ball flew and stopped in a tree. A boy aged 16 climbed the tree to take it and fell down. He received a thoracic trauma and may have his pelvic bones broken. He was admitted to the traumatology section of the children’s hospital located on Grenoble St. Silvia Babra said the number of persons who poison with mushrooms is on the rise. Seven persons were taken to Saint Trinity Hospital with mushroom poisoning for detox on Friday, June 4. During the last 24 hours, the Chisinau Ambulance Service responded to 727 calls, dealing with 45 cases f trauma, 69 cases of acute viral infection, six strokes, two heart attacks and 20 deliveries.
