A three-year-old girl died at the weekend after falling off a tractor driven by her father in the village of Huluboaia, Cahul.
National Patrolling Inspectorate spokesperson Natalia Golovco told IPN that the man, 27, was with her two young daughters, 3 and 5, in a Belarus tractor. The younger one was sitting near the rear window, which was open, and when the tractor jerked into motion, the girl fell out of it.
She was taken to the district hospital, but doctors couldn’t do anything to save her.
A criminal investigation was started to establish all the circumstances.
