The minimum monthly child benefit provided to medically uninsured parents up to the child’s age of one year and a half and to medically insured parents up to the child’s age of three will rise by 100 lei up to 540 lei, IPN reports, quoting amendments made to the regulations concerning the method of setting and paying child benefit, approved by the Cabinet, IPN reports.
In the same meeting, the Cabinet agreed changes to a previous decision by which the benefit for adopted children and for children under guardianship will also be increased by 100 lei to 800 lei.
Both of the decisions are aimed at supporting the families with children.
