The chief negotiators of Chisinau and Tiraspol conferred on the problems related to neutral-design license plates in Bender on September 3. They discussed the potential practical mechanisms for optimizing the activity of the vehicle registration units in Tiraspol and Râbnița and for increasing the number of beneficiaries of this public service provided by the authorities of the Republic of Moldova, IPN reports.
The meeting of Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Vlad Kulminski, who is the chief negotiator of Chisinau, and the political representative to the Transnistrian settlement process on behalf of Tiraspol Vitaly Ignatiev took place at the office of the OSCE Mission.
The interlocutors agreed to restore the sector working groups, especially of the road transport experts, so as to identify technical solutions to the problems that appear in the process.
There were also discussed other important issues, such as the provision of COVID-19 vaccine doses for the residents from both sides of the Nistru, ensuring of the proper functioning of the Romanian language schools and removal of the obstacles to free movement.
