Inspectors of the Consumer Protection Agency found chicken meat injected with stabilizers E450 and E451 at a nursery school in Straseni district.
Contacted by phone by IPN, the Agency’s senior specialist for relations with the media Andrei Gutu said the producer indicated the presence of the stabilizers on the packing of the meat. The irregularity resides in the fact that using such additives in meat is not allowed as they can cause complications of diseases typical of children.
As the investigation goes on, it’s not known if the economic entity that supplied the meat will be penalized or not.
