The inhabitants of Chetrosu village of Anenii Noi district haven’t had running water for a day. The people have to buy bottled water or to bring water from the neighbors who have wells. But the level of water in the wells is rather low.
According to villagers, the supply was stopped because the analyses showed that the water is infected. Contacted by IPN, engineer Eugen Morari said the information is incorrect. The supply was interrupted in order to clean the pipes. The works have been planned and are carried out every year. The water supply will not work on July 19 too.
Mayor of Chetrosu Leonid Zalevschi said the residents were informed beforehand to store water. He assured that the supply of water will be restored soon.
