The International Chess Festival “Moldova’s Autumn- 2017” has ended. The participants competed in three categories: A (up to 8 years), B (up to 10) and C (up to 14). This year’s tournament involved over 150 chess players from Chisinau, Cahul, Tiraspol, Ungheni, Orhei, Comrat, Criuleni, Falesti, Stefan Voda, Straseni, Rabnita, and Donduseni, IPN reports.
In tournament A, Lavinia Guzun from Chisinau emerged victorious with a score of 7.5 points. Dmitry Suparski ranked second. He had the same score, but lost the direct match against Lavinia Guzun.
Tournament B was won by Nichita Soilita from Chisinau. He scored eight points, losing only to Victoria Bargan.
Laurentiu Panfilii won tournament C with 7.5 points.
