A wharf-like border crossing point located on the border with Ukraine was closed owing to the formation of ice bridges over the Nistru River. Traffic through another four border crossing points was disrupted, IPN reports.
According to the Border Police, the wharf-like border crossing point “Soroca-Tsekinovka” was closed on a temporary basis. Owing to the situation on the roads in the neighboring country, movement through the checkpoints “Vasilcau-Velikaya Koshnitsa”, “Cheadar-Lunga-Maloiaroslavets”, “Chismichioi-Dolinskoe” and “Saiti-Lesnoe” is difficult.
