A charity concert to support people in difficulty, in particular the elderly and disabled without families, will be organized in Chisinau in May. The activity is part of a socio-medical services development project, supported by the Czech Embassy in Moldova.
The project “Support and assistance for the social sector of Moldova” is carried out by the Prague-based charity Charita Česká republika and the Chisinau-based NGO Homecare. The support provided to the beneficiaries includes offering of services such as washing, cleaning, shopping, as well as medical care - wound dressing, physiotherapy procedures, and so on. To provide these services, eight centers have been opened throughout the country, namely in Chisinau, Cahul, Stefan Voda, and in villages from Falesti, Donduseni, Dubasari.
Another activity is raising funds in addition to donor-supported work. One such event is a charity concert to be held on May 15. The concert will take place at the “Serghei Lunchevici” National Philharmonic and the lineup includes Moldovan pop stars and bands Adrian Ursu, Catharsis, Ion Razza, Mihai Budurin, Acord, Catalina Rusu, Georgeta Voinovan, Lenuta Burghila, and Aura.
The entry fee is 200 lei.
