The Government will introduce changes to the legislation on the censure motion that can be submitted to seek the dismissal of the Cabinet, the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party Vlad Filat said in the program “Friday with Anatol Golea” on RTR Moldova channel, IPN reports.

“Amendments are required to the legislation. A Cabinet should not come to answer lawmakers’ questions every week. There should be specified the terms when a censure motion can be submitted. The Government must work,” said the politician.

Vlad Filat referred to the censure motion against the Leanca Government put forward by the Communist lawmakers. After the motion didn’t garner the necessary number of votes, the Communists put forward another one.

“It’s not a secret that the Communists try to ensure their policy’s success by scandals and destabilization of the situation. We have to examine a censure motion once a week. Thus, changes are needed to the legislation,” said Vlad Filat.

Vlad Filat was dismissed from the post of Premier in spring by a censure motion put forward also by the Communists. The Communists’ initiative was then supported by the Democratic MPs. Afterward, the Liberal Democratic Party, the Democratic Party and seven Liberal MPs formed the Pro-European Coalition. The MPs of these parties now represent the parliamentary majority.
