The Cabinet approved amendments to the road traffic regulations. These refer to new road signs and the speed limit in settlements and outside them for particular categories of motor vehicles, IPN reports.

Thus, the speed limit for motor vehicles intended for transporting large dangerous loads is of 40 km/h in settlements and 70 km/h outside these.

In case of heavy precipitation, fog or glazed frost, snow and ice on roads, the speed outside settlements should be lower by at least 20 km/h than the highest speed allowed for the category of which the driven vehicles form part.
