After the centralization of 98.33% of the vote reports, the electors who voted “Yes” in the referendum constitute 50.03% (730,832 votes), compared to 49.97% (730,088 votes) of those who voted “No”, IPN reports, with reference to the presented online by the Central Election Commission.
Out of a total of 1,460,920 valid votes, the difference between the two options is now 744 votes.
Votes from the diaspora are yet to come to be counted.
The law will be considered adopted if the majority of citizens who participated in the referendum voted “Yes” in the plebiscite.
