Chairman of Germany’s European affairs committee comes to Chisinau

Gunther Krichbaum, chairman of the European affairs committee of the German Bundestag, will be paying a visit to Moldova on March 4-6, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a communiqué from Parliament, the member of the German Bundestag will have a meeting with Speaker Marian Lupu on March 4. Gunther Krichbaum will also meet with Prime Minister Vlad Filat, the Liberal Party head Mihai Ghimpu, and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Iurie Leanca. On March 6, the German official will give a news conference in concert with the head of the parliamentary commission for foreign policy and European integration Igor Corman.
