When determining the energy vulnerability degree, the paid maintenance pension will not be excluded from the declared incomes. By April 30, all the energy vulnerability levels set for November 2022 – March 2023 will be recalculated depending on this norm. Such a decision was taken by the Commission for Exceptional Situations (CES), IPN reports.

The Ministry of Energy will work out regulations for covering the shortage of solid biofuel used during the heating season by social facilities. Later, the Energy Efficiency Agency will compile the list of beneficiaries and the allocated quantities, taking into account the installed power of heating plants.

The CES extended until September 30 the period of validity of the environmental permit for waste management and the air emissions permit of the Rybnitsa-based Moldova Steel Works.

A sum of 4.5 million lei of the Government’s intervention fund will go to maintain temporary placement centers for refugees created by local public authorities of the second level, while 282,000 lei is intended for the authorities of the second level, for the same purpose. Also, 295,000 lei was allocated for offering the compensation bonus to employees involved in the management of the refugee crisis. Another provision allows to close, as from April 3, 2023, the temporary center for managing influxes of foreigners into the Republic of Moldova, which was set up in Pârlița village of Fălești district.
