Centru district office goes online

The residents of Chisinau's Centru district will be able to better monitor the activity of the district head’s office through the new website www.chisinaucentru.md. More than 15,000 lei was invested in the creation of this site, Info-Prim Neo reports. The district head Vladimir Sarban said that the site is a great responsibility for the entire administration of the district head’s office. ”We express ourselves, draw the curtain and we will be seen. It is a hard work that has just begun,” Sarban said, pledging to permanently update the information posted on the site. The website contains personal data about the employees of the district head’s office, their statements of income, information about the district institutions, the draft decisions of the Chisinau Municipal Council, projects that will be implemented by the district head’s office and other pieces of news. The people could use the site to file applications and petitions and to take the forms needed to solve different problems. During the election campaign, the lists of the voters of Centru district will be published on the site. According to the technicians in charge of the functionality of the site, they are now finalizing the last operations so that all the links could be accessed by the end of this week. Angela Caraman, the secretary of the district head’s office, said that the new service is intended for the people and is designed to facilitate their access to officials and to insure a more efficient communication between them. Centru district is the second to launch its own site. Ciocana district launched such a service last July.
