The section of the Great National Assembly Square of Chisinau between the streets Alexandru Pushkin and Bănulescu-Bodoni will be inaccessible to traffic starting at 6pm on December 31 in connection with the New Year’s concert, IPN reports.
In this connection, the police recommend all the motorists to avoid the area and to use parking lots situated nearby, to travel very prudently when passing by groups of pedestrians and to obey the instructions of inspectors.
The pedestrians are urged to move only on sidewalks and to cross the street at crosswalks and at the green color of traffic lights, before making sure it is safe.
