Center for informing investors in energy sector to be set up in Chisinau

A common center for informing the investors, especially the foreign ones, that will implement projects in the area of energy efficiency and production of energy from renewable sources will be established in Chisinau, Info-Prim Neo reports. ”The center will aim to attract investments to this sector,” said Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Valeriu Lazar. It will also collect and systematize proposals from the public institutions responsible for related polices so that these proposals or projects are presented to the interested investors. Moldova aims to save 20% of the energy consumption by 2020, by implementing energy efficiency projects. Another 20% of the consumption will be ensured from renewable sources of energy.
