The censure motion against the Leanca Government will be examined on December 11. The decision was taken by the Parliament’s Standing Bureau on December 5, IPN reports.

The Communists put forward the censure motion, arguing that the provisions of the Association Agreement with the EU, which was initialed at the Vilnius EaP Summit, were negotiated in secret so that the Constitution and the human rights to know information of public interest and to administer the state were violated.

When the motion was submitted, the Communists’ leader Vladimir Voronin said the Communist faction repeatedly asked that the text of the Association Agreement be made public, but every time the Prime Minister and other members of the Government avoided the issue.
