CEI experts to forward recommendations to step up Moldova's economy

Experts from 17 countries of the Central-European Initiative (CEI) will put up recommendations to step up the Moldovan agriculture at the top-level meeting on agriculture. Thew reunion titled “The Countries' Practice in Developing Sustainable Agriculture. Agriculture for Development” will take place in Chisinau on October 23, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the Agriculture and Feed Ministry, the reunion pursues to tackle stringent problems in agriculture and to identify viable solutions for the whole region. The main goal of the initiative in terms of agriculture is to promote the quality and safety of an agricultural sector respecting the environment and the animals' well-being. The Central European Initiative (CEI) is a flexible formula of regional cooperation joining 18 states: Albania, Austria, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, the Czech Rep., Croatia, Italy, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Serbia, Ukraine, Hungary. It goals consist in deepening the cohesion between the member countries and in assisting them to develop stable democracies and market economies, and to prepare to join the EU.
