The Central Election Commission (CEC) on December 5 will present the official report concerning the totaling of the results of the November 30 elections, the Commission’s president Iurie Ciocan announced in a meeting on December 2, IPN reports.
“The next meeting of the CEC will be unordinary one. On December 5, we will present the Commission’s official report on the outcome of the November 30 parliamentary elections,” stated Iurie Ciocan.
With 98.26% of the votes counted, the Party of Socialists leads with 20.75% of the ballot. It is followed by the Liberal Democratic Party with 19.97%, the Party of Communists with 17.71%, the Democratic Party with 15.94% and the Liberal Party with 9.53%.
