The Central Election Commission (CEC) will create a new interface of its website on which the people could see information about party and election campaign funding. The prototype was designed by students of the Orizont Lyceum of Durlești, who won the second edition of “InnoVoter” – an electoral creation laboratory.
CEC president Alina Russu has told IPN that the institution she manages intends to put the new interface into operation for the parties to report the financing sources for the first half of this year. “By regulations already, we will set down the obligation to present the annual report through the information system,” stated the official.

As regards the financing sources, Alina Russu said the new system will be implemented with financial support from the foreign development partners. The idea of the Orizont students will be put into practice with the assistance of a team of IT specialists.
